Risin' Again
There
are those seasons when so many things just don't want to make sense. You
keep pushing at this never moving wall, squeezing through a never ending dark
and narrow passageway, trying to rise but 'religiously' slipping and falling,
with the cycle going on and on for much longer than you are willing to bear.
But you know, the cycle does end, and another season does set in especially
when you least expect it. You just hang in there, remembering to have God at
the center and then God just centers everything else. You don't go silent on
Him. you keep talking to Him, even if it's just a whisper...you just should
never go silent on Him.
Whilst looking for some inspiration, I came across something i read somewhere
quite some time back and thought i should share it here. Hope it encourages
someone, especially if you feel weighed down. so here goes:
"Do
not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, trust also in me" John 14:1
Many are
the times we worry a lot that we have no room for positive results. We go to
sleep at the end of the day, wondering how things will work out, will I ever
get a job, will I manage to pay rent or mortgage this month, plus many other
trivial things. the funny part is, we live through them without even
acknowledging God's hand in resolving our dilemmas. If only we can trust in God
and in His son Jesus, then we can afford to rejoice and praise Him even in
tough times.
"We
are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed but not in despair,
persecuted but not abandoned; struck down but not destroyed." 2
Corinthians 4:8,9
Success
doesn't come easy. One goes through a lot of failures, but he who gets back up
and dusts himself , takes up the challenge once more until he makes it. It does
not matter how many times one has gone through an experience, but only those
who are determined , those who maintain clear vision and objectives and stay on
their paths make it to the end.
Quitters
never win and winners never quit.
"So
do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. you need to
persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what He
has promised." Hebrews 10: 35,36
Many are
the times when you embark on something exciting or something new, there is
usually a new form of energy, boldness and desire to pursue that which you want
to achieve. However, as the journey ensues, you run out of steam and may
eventually give up. However, the scripture reminds us to keep holding onto the
courage we begun with and hold on irrespective of the challenges and
discouragements that may cloud your path. the end results are fruitful and
satisfying. the success of a journey is not its end, but in the course of it.
There is
power released into the life of those who will trust in God....
Dear friend; hold on, hang in and keep moving, crawl if you must but just don't
stop. Just keep moving and look up, up to Him. When He says He will never leave
us nor forsake us, He means it to the dot though sometimes it doesn't feel like
He is with us.He is always right there...just find your way back to that place
of trust.
Here is to the rising and falling that makes us all stronger, wiser and better.
Here is to achieving all those dreams; holding on no matter how much it hurts.
Here is to a bigger and brighter future. Indeed, in God we do trust.
Wishing you all the best :)
