Believe:

1. To accept as true or real

2. To have firm faith

3. To have faith, confidence, or trust

4. To have confidence in the truth or value of something

Some friends were talking and told of a story of a man who thought he would just as well put his faith into action. He went to a water body so that he'd walk on water like Peter. He stepped in, at the deep end and that was the last they saw of him. He drowned.

Well, one could have various questions to ask. May be he had a slight moment of doubt... we would never know. One thing is for certain, he probably got to a point that a number of us would not even dare to imagine trying. He got onto a boat or whatever it was, set out to the deep end! stepped into the water!!! The best some of us can do is stand at the bank. That's if we get to the lake/water body. hahaha..not mentioning having this even ever crossing our minds at all.

Anyways... I feel this that I, you...all of us should determine to step out each day saying, "I believe."

I believe today is a good day

I believe this day, I will grow positively

I believe today I will share His love

I believe today I will feel, touch, hear and see God

I believe that all I need this day, is provided

I believe today I am a step closer to seeing my dreams come true or better still, today is the day my dreams come true!!

I believe I am protected, sheltered, shielded by Him

I believe I am going through this situation and will come out just fine on the other end

I believe He is with me

etc etc

I believe... I believe... I believe...

May be you've believed before and you 'drowned' or came out 'chocking,' may be that's what your fear is; 'What if Ibelieve and nothing happens?' (is that believing anyway?)

but again... what if it does happen? Thing is, at the end of the day you did your part...and believed.

(I guess we should add, 'I believe that today, I believe.')

Heberews 11:1 a verse we probably all know too well, "Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see."

Let's be sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. Let's call into being all that we want to see and let us see it before it comes into being; have it born in our hearts and then it will be born in real time. If it is dead in your heart and mind, there is no way it will come into reality.

Don't give up on all those things you hoped would be in place by now.....believe, hold onto faith and let us believe that this year that the seemingly dead things can come back to life. May be the year hasn't even started on a good note for you...still, get up and shout, 'I believe.'

Whatever it is, no matter how big or small or out of the ordinary it is; believe coz after all our Father operates in the exceedingly and above ...all we could ever ask or imagine. That means that whatever big dream you have might just as well be a speck before Him... coz He all too naturally operates in that unimaginable realm.

It is one thing to say something, it is another to believe it.

Romans 4:17-25 NIV

17As it is written: "I have made you a father of many nations. "He is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believed - the God who gives life to the dead and calls things that are not as though they were.

18Against all hope, Abaraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, "So shall your offspring be."

... ... 23The words, "it was credited to him" were not written for him alone, 24but also for us, to whom God will credit righteousness - for us who believe in him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead....

Our God gives life to the dead and calls things that are not as though they are and calls us to do the same.

Like Abraham, agaist all hope in hope, let us believe in God, His love, power and will for our lives, our dreams, our future...

Let us call into being those things that we see and have been born in our hearts and minds :-)

(So now that I am done typing I am thinking, really? waaaa, I believe that I believe the above *wink* )

There can be miracles when we believe.
