Accepts where you've been
And regardless of where you are now
Still loves you

Watching your back
Saying kind words
Telling ya like it is
Because that's the way it is
Not to hurt you, but to show you reality
And reality can suck

Someone to laugh with
Cry with
Sit alone and do nothing with
'Cause that's okay
Love is knowing that you may not see eye to eye
But being able to respect each other's differences of opinion

Love is not ...
Jealousy
Envy
Saying hurtful things

Love is ...
Considering how your thoughts, decisions and actions
will affect the one you love
And if it's not good
You will reconsider it all

Love grows until it consumes you
Love is great but
You can only get it by giving it away
